AC Weddings & Events are a wedding planning and events management business based in Aberdeen, North East Scotland.
We offer partial and full planning services, quarterly wedding board workshops as well as creating bespoke packages for events management.
With almost a decade of experience in the wedding industry, as well as experience in the event planning industry, Abi Clarke has the passion and understanding to help plan your perfect wedding day or fantastic event.
Abi has also won industry awards including wedding entrepreneur of the year for North East Scotland in 2017 by Lux Awards.

Meet Abi Clarke
Hello, i’m Abi Clarke and I am the Director of AC Weddings & Events.
Although new to the world of wedding planning, I am no stranger to the exciting and whirlwind events that are weddings. Having previously owned a wedding videography company, my husband and I filmed and edited weddings for a numbers of years, in several locations and venues all across Scotland. This included working with several different suppliers, styles and themes. We filmed a range of different weddings from 5-10 people to large events with over 200 guests, from castles to barns and international to broch weddings!
During my maternity leave, I set up a charity called MISS (Miscarriage Information Support Service), where our support include; monthly support groups, phone service and quarterly fundraising events. I have gained extensive event planning knowledge from this as well as learning to understand how to run a charity, budgeting and networking.
In 2019, I decided to take the plunge and start in wedding planning. An exciting new venture which with my wedding knowledge, understanding of bride and grooms as well as good connections in the local area and with suppliers I feel this is that natural next step, and I cannot wait.
